What are your DJ Service Prices?

Rates start at $750.00 for corporate functions, $850.00 for Christmas/Holiday parties and $950.00 for weddings. Rates vary based on date and length of the event, number of guests and the client’s wishes (standard vs premium DJ set-up, lighting etc). Have a budget in mind? Are You an Agency? Who Will DJ My Wedding Or Corporate Event?

Essential DJs is not an agency. You will personally speak to and meet with the DJ that will be there the day of the event! DJ’s Daniel Arteaga and Conor Burke.

What areas do you serve?

The Essential DJs team Daniel and Conor are Toronto and Halton based. We gladly serve but are not restricted to the GTA, York, Peel, Halton, Durham, Simcoe, Muskoka and Niagara. Planning an out of town Party? Not a problem!

How Long will you hold my date?

Essential DJs is a not a high pressure sales driven business. We only schedule consultations for dates that are available and will hold your date for up to 1 week after the initial consultation. There are no obligations before the contract is signed and a deposit is given. The DJ only books 1 event per day, your day is for you which allows for flexible scheduling.

What kind of DJ Equipment Do you Use?

The Essential DJs team standard set up is a digital DJ controller and a great sound system comprising of industry standard speakers. This set up allows us to mix live and quickly adapt to the mood and vibe of the event. A classic vinyl turntable set up can be used upon request. We also offer lighting packages both basic and party/up-lighting.

What kind of music is played during my Wedding or Corporate event?

We take pride in providing the best DJ experience for our clients, so pre planning with event organizers ensures everyone is on the same page. You can chose to give our team a genre or mood you want and we can take it from there, we are pro’s at reading a room. Or we can get specific! Provide artists, tracks, genres or even playlists. From time to time clients like to provide us with a “do not play” list. You can be as general or specific as you want, the party is all about you!

What precautions are taken to avoid issues?

Daniel and Conor have put together a process which is strictly followed for every booking to make sure your day goes off without a hitch. First is the detailed contracts signed by both the Essential DJs team and the client which outlines all the details of the day. Showing up a minimum of 90 minutes before scheduled starting time, and having back up equipment and hard drives in case of the very rare event of equipment failure, damage or theft. In the very rare case your DJ is unable to perform (i.e. Hospitalization, emergency) we have qualified replacements available.
